VOICE Buffalo

VOICE's mission is to build power with people impacted by injustice to advance racial equity, transform broken systems, and create communities rooted in dignity, safety,
and belonging. We boldly imagines a society of diverse communities that are empowered, informed, active, and connected to one another, where all people have access to the resources they need to thrive and a voice in the decisions that affect them.

Help us build a more just Buffalo through community organizing and people power.

Our Work

VOICE Buffalo bridges community organizing, civic engagement, and transformative justice to convene diverse coalitions, from youth leaders and returning citizens to the disability community, policy advocates, and local officials.

"The struggle for Black Liberation is not just a political struggle, it is a spiritual struggle. We must have faith that we can overcome, that we can achieve our goals."

- Martin Sostre, a Puerto Rican political prisoner, activist, and Buffalo bookstore owner
