Free Our Comrades
We are fighting for comrades who have been wrongfully convicted, murdered behind bars, and who have served their sentence.
Jonathan Parker

In 1998, Jonathan Parker was wrongfully convicted at the age of 19 and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murder of Buffalo Police Officer Charles McDougald. Jonathan has maintained his innocence from the very beginning. Both the McDougald family and the Parker family deserve closure and certainty in the pursuit of justice. The outcome of this case has far-reaching implications for the community, the criminal legal system, and the principles of truth and fairness that we hold dear.
David Sell

David Sell, who grew up in Buffalo after being born in the Bronx, became entangled in drugs and violence at a young age, leading to a conviction at 20 for a fatal shooting and a 43-years-to-life sentence. Now 49, he has spent 28 years in prison dedicated to rehabilitation, family, and mentoring youth, living with remorse and a commitment to redemption. Despite not being eligible for parole for another 12 years, David Sell is a living example of the power of rehabilitation and personal transformation, and should be awarded clemency.
Terrol Massey

Terrol Massey died an innocent man on January 3rd, 2022, while in police custody due to medical neglect. Terrol was a healthy 16 year old when he was wrongfully convicted for a crime he did not commit and was then sentenced to almost 30 years in state prison, where he was wrongfully placed in solitary confinement for months on end. His death has deprived him of the opportunity to defend himself.
